There are many fake orders came in during holiday season every year. I would suggest to request customer from oversea to pay you via paypal or use google check out.
How to know when a fake order came in?
- The billing address will show the order is from the U.S. and shipping address is to oversea? That is enough indication to see all the red lights flashing!!
- Big orders and usually came in 2 per items.
- They want you to ship immediately, because they need the orders for holiday, and what do you do? Being so thoughtful and nice, you ship for them. That is big NO NO. I would request they give me the name on the credit cards and their bank info. I will check everything out before we ship.
- Too many transactions for trying to get one order through.
- The order name came from Princess Diana? and ship to rrrrbbborr??
- They have placed one order using their own card and you shipped. Everything is fine. When the 2nd order came in, bigger order, a few tries with transactions but finally went through. You checked the customer's order history, it appears the last order came in and shipped without any problem, that is when they got you. The 2nd bigger order is fake, using stolen credit cards to place the order. They used their first order to earn your trust, but the 2nd order is fake. See how that works?
